Jacob "Duke" Carpenter is based out of Orlando, FL and is the resident Thursday night DJ at Neon Beach downtown. Jacob has been DJing for a little over a year and in that span of time has gained a residency and created the event SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT from the ground up, turning Thursday nights at Neon Beach into one of the busiest nights of the week. He has played at various house parties, bars, and events in the Downtown Orlando area and also loves to throw the occasional boat DJ party that have become admired locally. Jacob specializes in and loves to play the deeper & emotional styles of music that includes Melodic House & Techno, Deep & Progressive House, Trance, and Techno. The passion for DJing for Jacob comes from bringing the music he loves to people that have never heard it before and experiencing the crowd enjoying his sets immensely. Jacob has a very business minded, professional approach to working with promoters and bar/club owners - focusing on the venue and making the event the best it possibly can be by getting as many people to the venue as possible. This has been proven consistently with the success of SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT at Neon Beach, with his ability to draw a crowd to the venue where he is playing has resulted in a sudden increase in local bookings in the Downtown Orlando area.
